last week justice ruth bader ginsburg – the notorious rbg, if you will – came to little rock, and jeremy and i made the drive over to see her.
it was part of the clinton school and clinton foundation kumpuris distinguished lecture series, and reservations filled up in 27 minutes. they eventually moved the event to verizon arena, and over 14,000 people packed in to see her.
president clinton showed up to introduce her, and we were treated to a nearly two hour conversation between rbg and nina totenberg spanning her life, her career, her friendship with the late justice scalia, and her vision for the future of the court.
it was incredible to be in the same space as her and to hear some of her stories. her memory is amazing, and the evening ran the gamut from funny to serious to emotional [i only cried twice, it’s all good].
i also got to see so many of my clinton school and little rock people – including two of my three streebach ladies – which made me very happy. all in all, a wonderful evening.

other highlights included: short work week / slowly getting the house sorted / packers beat the bears / dinner with kendall / weekend in seattle with three of my faves
xx
