taking stock: quarantine, week 2.

well, here we are with two weeks behind us. last week was the week everyone went wild over zoom, plus we had our parent orientations, so i’m a little burned out on virtual meetings. but in good news the sun came out and we had four days in a row of beautiful weather. it’s the little things.

i didn’t read as much last week because of parent orientations and because i needed a little break, but i still managed to finish 2 books.

  • still got in a walk or run every day except tuesday, including:
    • walk around the lake at shelby farms
    • run in overton park
    • hike at shelby forest
  • aiming to do some kind of core exercise every other day-ish

  • brought my summer stuff down from the attic and stowed away my sweaters and scarves
  • re-arranged some of the boxes in the attic while i was up there for easier access

as i told my father, it’s amazing how productive i can be on the weekend when i’m not exhausted from the week gone past. i’ve never known an 8.30-5 lifestyle, and it’s been quite eye-opening for me.
