i truly don’t know where to start with this one. i knew this year’s return to india was going to be special, but even i couldn’t fathom all the ways in which it would take me by surprise. from the old friends with whom i reconnected to the new friends made along the way. from the places that have changed but in so many ways remain the same to the new sights and scenes. from reminiscing over old memories to seeing my favorite places through the eyes of one of my best friends. it was an incredible experience and one that will live in my heart forever.

over the next few weeks i am going to attempt the impossible — summarizing our trip on here so you can see all that we got up to. there are three weeks and five stops to cover, almost 2,000 photos to sift through, and pages and pages of notes that i somehow think i’ll be able to transcribe. wish me luck, and i hope you enjoy the journey!
