weekly roundup 09 // 2015.

weekend outlook:

a lot of rest and relaxation. it was a long week at work, and i’m not feeling my best, so i am going to follow jess’ advice and give myself some self-love and some self-care. and watch a lot of ipl.

my favourite photo from the week:

fun things from around the interwebs:

pretty excited about sharing this new project — i am going to be helping grassroots volunteering continue to grow its ambassador program and map grassroots projects around the world who need volunteers. i am so excited and really looking forward to diving in. and no worries, i’m still working full-time with zaya! this is a part-time volunteer gig. [ed note: i received a few comments that the link was not working so i have changed it. it works when i click on it in the preview, but please let me know if it is still having trouble. thanks!]

love this collaboration between tedx and google’s cultural institute to cull together all of the different ted talks by street artists from around the world. it’s really cool to go through, and i have a feeling it will be one i keep returning to.

a great piece from paul, the new ceo of reality tours and travel, about his inspiration to leave high-paying jobs and focus his efforts on social enterprises that help the communities they are working in.

in case you missed it:

bangalore house-hunting adventures.

happy weekend, friends!

xx

Hi Veena! Glad to hear you’re taking it easy this weekend 🙂 The work you’re doing with grassroots sounds really interesting – but the link in the post doesn’t work – I want to know more! 🙂 xx
